In order to adequately and effectively promote the survey across campus, we engage in a collaborative approach with colleagues and the Students’ Union:

  • Institution-level communication
  • Distributing merchandise
  • Sharing social media, promotional and communication items
  • Update on response rates
  • Prizes

Working with academic and administrative colleagues in programmes, we distribute merchandise, share communication and promotional tools and encourage local communication and promotion. Centrally we run an extensive communication and promotion campaign through social media, email and the Student Ezine. 100 prizes were offered for completion of the survey

Closely monitoring response rates provides us with the capacity to issue targeted reminders to programmes where participation is low.

We work very closely with the UCD Students’ Union to promote the survey. They have campaigns across social media and email, offer prizes and run novel competitions, including a competition for class reps to promote the survey locally.
