About MIE

Marino Institute of Education (MIE) is a teaching, learning and research community committed to promoting inclusion and excellence in education. MIE is an associated college of Trinity College Dublin, the University of Dublin and offers 4 full time level 8 undergraduate courses in education including B.Ed (Primary Teaching), B.Sc Education Studies, B.Sc Early Childhood Education and B.Oid (Bunmhúinteoireacht trí mheán na Gaeilge). It delivers the Professional Masters in Education (Primary) and the Professional Diploma in Education (Further Education). MIE also has 5 Masters courses in Early Childhood Education, Visual Arts, Inquiry Based Learning, Leadership in Christian Education and Intercultural Learning and Leadership.

MIE also facilitates Trinity’s International Foundation Programme, welcoming a number of international students each year to study at Marino before entering Trinity at undergraduate level. Marino Institute of Education’s beautiful campus boats a mixture of old and new architecture, with Dublin city centre on their doorstep.

Survey Dates

Survey live: 7 February - 27 February 2023

Each participating institution selects a specific three-week period during February and March to open the survey for their students. This allows the national survey to take account of local events and other demands on students’ time in order to increase the benefit of the survey at local level – “national survey, local impact“.
