A big thank you to the 29,942 first year undergraduates, final year undergraduates and taught postgraduates who took part in the 2026 survey. We are in the final stages of data analysis and report production, and results will be issued in December 2026.
About taught StudentSurvey.ie
Following a comprehensive 18 month review period, a new taught StudentSurvey.ie questionnaire is in place across Irish higher education.
The survey review process included expertise from a diverse group of stakeholders including Student Union Representatives, students, HEI staff, and subject matter experts. The redesigned survey reflects the significant shifts that have occurred in higher education since the survey was first piloted in 2013.

PGR StudentSurvey.ie, for postgraduate research students, ran in participating institutions in 2025. The results of the survey are now available.
