The 2026 Taught Student Survey has now closed!
Group 1: Feb 3 – Feb 24: DCU, MIC, MIE, ATU, UCC, & UL.
Group 2: Feb 10 – Mar 3: DBS, NCAD, & NCI.
Group 3: Feb 17 – Mar 10: DKIT, RCSI, UG, & MU.
Group 4: Feb 24 – Mar 17: IADT, MTU, SETU, UCD, TCD, TU DUBLIN, & TUS.
A big thank you to the 29,942 first year undergraduates, final year undergraduates and taught postgraduates who all took part! The data is now being processed. Keep an eye out for the results that will issue here later this year.
Taught StudentSurvey.ie has been reviewed
The StudentSurvey.ie Steering Group has formally approved a revised survey instrument for taught students, for implementation in 2026. This approval has followed 18 months of review by the StudentSurvey.ie Review Working Group (RWG).
The survey review process included input from a diverse group of stakeholders including Student Union Representatives, students, HEI staff, and subject matter experts. The redesigned survey reflects the significant shifts that have occurred in higher education since the survey was first piloted in 2013.
PGR StudentSurvey.ie results are now available
PGR StudentSurvey.ie, for postgraduate research students, ran in participating institutions in 2025. The results of the survey are now available.
