StudentSurvey.ie is back! PGR (postgraduate research) StudentSurvey.ie is launching from 4 February in Irish higher education institutions. Fieldwork dates are available here and the survey is open for three weeks from the date of launch.
The survey questionnaire covers a range of topics on students' experience of higher education, including:
- Research infrastructure and facilities
- Supervision
- Research culture
- Progress and assessment
- Development opportunities
- Research skills
- Other transferable skills
- Responsibilities and supports
- Personal outlook
- Motivations and career
- Overall experience
We are also releasing a series of statistical trend analyses on our Blog page - this covers self-funding, digital capital and more. Check back as we continue to release more data!
We are also bringing out a newsletter soon and you can sign up here.
Students will receive an email asking them to fill out the survey, and there's lots of merchandise and prizes to be won! Participating higher education institutions have received a detailed handbook on the survey fieldwork. We expect to be able to share the results of the survey later in 2025.
