The 24th of October was a very exciting day for all involved with the Irish Survey of Student Engagement and the Irish Survey of Student Engagement for Postgraduate Research Students as we launched our national reports and also our rebrand to StudentSurvey.ie.
The launch happened as part of the Student Success Symposium, organised by the National Forum for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning and the Higher Education Authority, and we could not have chosen a better event to collaborate with. StudentSurvey.ie aims to amplify the student voice, and the student voices were heard loud and clear, through the results of the surveys and also from the students who shared some of their thoughts and experience with the 160-strong crowd as part of the event.
Minister Mary Mitchell O'Connor, a strong supporter of StudentSurvey.ie, gave the opening address. This was followed by a diverse schedule of events, the highlight of which for many was the Student Voices panel, led by Kevin McStravock of USI.
As part of the StudentSurvey.ie launch, Dr Siobhán Nic Fhlannchadha (StudentSurvey.ie Project Manager) presented some results of the national reports 2019 and a feature on international students. Michelle Byrne, USI Vice President for Campaigns, presented the rebrand. Both were very well received.

While the Minister regrettably could not stay as long as she had hoped to, these are her comments about the StudentSurvey.ie national reports 2019...

Thank you to everyone who put so much work into the national reports 2019 and the rebrand. A special thank you to the international students and staff who work with them who contributed to the feature on internationally domiciled students. Thank you also to the National Forum for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning and the Higher Education Authority for welcoming the StudentSurvey.ie into the Student Success Symposium line-up.
The StudentSurvey.ie Project Manager is hugely grateful to the Communications Group who led the rebrand.
We also wish to acknowledge the student representatives who contributed their time, energy and expertise to this process and we are delighted they approve of the result!
The re-brand was carried out in partnership with Piquant - Design, Marketing and Web Development.
